Bloody Disgusting Horror
Is this bit of my book ok?
This is a small bit of my book and I'm not sure if I described it right. Please could someone tell me if its okay or if its the worst piece of garbage you've ever read?!
Swinging my legs off my bed, I ran into the bathroom. Clicking the switch, I turned on the light and as the room filled with a cool, reassuring light, I caught my first glimpse of my face. My first reaction was absolute horror, I didn’t know someone could look so horrible. My face was a bloodied mess, dried blood decorated my face, making my face feel lumpy to the touch. My skin was tainted an ugly shade of purple where bruises were already forming. My lips were split and distorted, blood was gently trickling out of them, and I could see that I was going to have a black eye. My second reaction was a disgusted wonder. How could some people have the heart to do this to someone? It just seemed so, so inhuman!

My bottom lip was split and distorted, adding more blood to the congealing mass. My vision was incomplete though, for one of my eyes was already swelling shut. My second reaction was a disgusted wonder. How could some people have the heart to do this to someone? It just seemed so... so inhuman!
I only changed a couple of things to make it flow better but other wise it is really good

Ladies of Horror at the SD Comic-Con 2008
hi, im 20 weeks pregnant and i just wanted to know if its safe to watch horror movies containing frightning,?
bloody or u know those scray/disgusting looking creatures like zombies and stuff that appear in movies while im pregnant.i love horror movies,i always have,and yesterday i was so tempted to go watch this movie (Quarentine-i probably spelled it wrong!) with all those zombies and stuff and the baby was started kicking like crazy while i was watching the movie.i got into the movie and i was tense the whole time obviously, but i dont know why the baby was kicking during the movie and specifically when i was tense..im worried now..and i wanna know did it harm the baby in anyway seeing these scenes and hearing these noises+ me being tense ,etc? one more thing..ive heard that i should not look at anything thats disturbing or ugly during my pregnancy in case the baby might be the same..ive always believed it was old wives tales..but in my heart i kinda believe it..is that true in anyway?..thank u..

I often notice that when I'm stressed out that is when my baby decides to start kicking, unless of course I'm stressing about why the baby isn't kicking lol. But if you can't watch horror movies for this reason then I guess I can't watch Extreme Makeover: Home Edition because I cry every single time.
